It didn't take long

by perfectly_faded @ 2006-11-25 - 10:28:25

So, I've only been here a day and already it's turning rude. The little red bear (he's not like any bear I've met before) wants me to name 9 pieces of music that have been playing when I have had a sexual encounter. It's something to do with an arthouse film called '9 Songs' which I hadn't heard of. As it is a bit unbecoming for people of my age to go into detail I won't,I promise, but I've thought of some to be going on with.
In maybe some sort of vague chronological order but probably not:

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper
Herbie Hancock - I Thought It Was You
Led Zeppelin - Battle of Nevermore
Genesis - The Musical Box
Billy Paul - Me and Mrs. Jones
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Nine Inch Nails -Something I Can Never Have
The Waterboys - A Pagan Place
Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy

They're the ones that stand out in my mind, once I've cleared the cobwebs away. Maybe not the best music for such times but they're what was playing anyway. We managed :)

Some interesting music tracks there PF although I'm inclined to agree about the suitability of some for the task in hand (so to speak). ;)

Especially the Genesis one, which keeps changing pace and it's very hard not to try to keep up, lol.

Indeed - but what fun trying! :))

Casting my mind back to one dark night in 1969 ,
beginning with
White light/White heat... velvet Underground,
culminating in
Here comes the sun...the Beatles

Pass on the other 7

Both excellent songs Missus. Wish I had been older than 7 in 1969, I feel I missed out.

I was listening to Jose Gonzalez singing Love Will Tear Us Apart - thought of you and your Joy Division thing straight away.

Yay! You're back... for 5 minutes anyway :P

I have a Joy Division thang :) I'll try to prolong the visit, honest guv. I'm going to change my avatar/icon to Ian of Joy Division in case it entices any other fangirls/boys :D
Hugs to you and I've been reading your blog to try to get the gist. You're happy for now anyway, which is nice! xx

The blog is a bit devoid of too much personal stuff.

I'm around tomorrow. I'll fill in the gaps then xx

What you mean "not like any Bear youve met before" ...lol

ahhh there you have a group that nearly made my nine
Blue oyster cult - though i went for the Last Days of May track from the first live album ...now that was a song and an experience worthy of the nine but i had to be selective..

i may be grumpy, flirty, and occasionally crack bad jokes, but never rude onest ... after all im just like all other bears really ....
